Latisse is a topical liquid applied to the upper eyelashes in order to encourage growth of the lashes.  The effects are dramatic after only two or three months, creating longer, thicker, more luxurious eyelashes and decreasing the need for mascara and other products. Side effects are unusual. This product was discovered accidentally when patients with an eye condition who were using eyedrops noticed their lashes becoming longer and thicker.
